Whoever said Sunday was a day of rest...

... obviously never owned their own business.

This is what I have been doing, literally, all day:

Sixteen properly taped up packages are all ready to be set off with the postman to their new homes. I'm excited and exhausted to see this lovely heap of jewelry.

I thought, since we changed the clock back last night, that I'd be well rested and happy as a clam for the extra hours of sunshine today. It's amazing how fast time gets sucked up though, when you're off and running about. I didn't even get to play in my new workshop!

Which reminds me... here is a glimpse of my new metal smithing workshop:

I actually put together that work bench and stool myself! Yes Ma'am, I did.

I would imagine it looks rather plain jane to the eye, but I am just tickled with this new set-up! I can already see a plethora of lovelies coming out of this seemingly shabby set-up. Just you wait!

(Look at all of the delicious soldering tools and my beloved torch, all ready for the making!)

I really am so very pleased with this new work space. I should be turning out some new pieces rather soon. It's so exciting to delve into a new sort of medium. Not that I at all mind the beading bits and putting together of lovely silver pieces. But there's something quite satisfying about the thought of actually creating something new from bits of scrap and sheet and wire.

*sigh*

I simply
cannot
wait.

Nighty night.

C.
